Here’s a MAXIM sports blog post from Nick Dimengo, who interviewed the Buffalo Jills Cheerleaders & Maxim on what it’s like to be an NFL Cheerleader:
2009 Buffalo Bills Cheerleaders

These are the finest girls the NFL has to offer this season. Check back each week to see a new team’s babes and see what they do the best…look good! This week, the Buffalo Bills Cheerleaders sat down and answered some of our questions.
It was probably a fantasy to become a NFL cheerleader, so now that you’ve reached this, what’s your next fantasy or dream?
Anna: “Law school! I’m hoping to become a criminal lawyer within the next few years while still cheering in the meantime. Beauty AND brains! Wink wink!”
Vinny: “To become Miss America! No seriously, I’ve competed in pageants for years!”
Who’s the hottest on-screen cheerleader? (Ali Larter-Varisty Blues, Hayden Panettiere-Heroes, Kirsten Dunst-Bring it On, etc.)?
Valerie: “I’d have to say Brooke Langton in The Replacements. She knows how to play the game! And I love the scene when all the cheerleaders are distracting the other team!”
Eileen: “With out a doubt Ali Larter in Varsity Blues. Hot blonde. Whipped Cream. And cherries. That’s all I have to say.”
Katy: “Ali Larter. Um, hello? Did you see her in Obsessed? That is one good looking, fit for a straight jacket blonde.”
Lisa: “Tiffani Amber Theissen on Saved by the Bell.”
Jock or Nerd. Which one would you really rather settle down with?Kelly: “There is nothing hotter than a jock who hits the books. I’d have to say both!”
Lisa: “It depends on what other qualities they have. I need a manly man who loves sports, isn’t afraid to get dirty, and can work well with his hands but at the same time, is well educated and takes his future seriously. Of course it always helps if he can make me laugh.”
Liz: “Why can’t I have a nerd-y jock?! A smart man who is also athletic is the best thing a girl could ask for.”
Valerie: “How about an Ivy League Quarterback?”
What’s the craziest thing a dude’s ever done to hit on you? In or out of stadium?
Eileen: “I received a piece of fan mail once. Inside was a picture that someone had drawn of me. Naked. He used an old calendar shot of me as the model for it.”
Kelly: “A guy once painted my name on his chest and his phone number on his back! Don’t get any ideas guys…I didn’t call him.”
Vinny: “A guy in Toronto once bribed me with money to go out with him. Um seriously? That is an instant turnoff guys.”
What’s the best and worst thing about being a NFL cheerleader?
Anna: “Best seats in the house!! The worst would have to be having to miss the other games on T.V. because the traffic getting out of the game is so bad!”
Kelly: “The best thing about being a Buffalo Jill is entertaining our diehard fans and being on the field every home game. As for the worst, It’s just so awful to go on photo shoots, trips to the Bahamas, have 45 hot friends, yea…that’s the worst right? Kidding! I love this job.”
Liz: “The best thing is getting to cheer on 75,000 screaming fans and experience the excitement and adrenaline of an NFL game! The worst thing is the end of the season- it goes by way too fast!”
Valerie: “There are so many amazing things about being an NFL cheerleader. I was given the chance to go visit our troops in Iraq and Germany ! The worst thing will be when I’m no longer a Buffalo Jill.”
